About me.
My name is Smilla, and I’m 24 years old. I just moved back to Østerbro, Copenhagen, after living in Paris for half a year, which was an absolute dream.
I am studying a bachelor's degree in Design & Business, with a specialisation in Creative Branding at KEA. This builds on my previous education as Design Technologist, specialising in Marketing & Communication Design, also from KEA. Both programs have given me broad knowledge and skills, especially in campaign planning, concept development and branding.
At KEA, we have a very practical and hands-on approach to learning, which suits me perfectly, as i love seeing my ideas come to life. We get the chance to work closely with a wide range of companies, spanning from startups to large corporations. Furthermore, KEA also hosts guest speakers from the industry, giving us valuable insights and real-life perspectives within our field.
I’m very passionate about fashion and design, and my ambition is to work within the fields of PR, branding, social media or styling, as these areas really resonate with my interests and skills. I love being creative, taking pictures, creating mood boards and finding inspiration both on the streets and online.
I am a very social person, and being around people gives me energy and motivation. I highly value social soundings, and I always bring an ambitious attitude, along with my easy smile and a positive mood. Through my studies, my work at Group88 and my semester in Paris, I’ve gained a broad knowledge and passion within my field. At the same time, I have strengthened my ability to maintain organised in busy and hectic situations, and working with a diverse range of people - always with a smile.
Looking to the future, I’m very excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Whether it’s working with PR, branding, social media or styling, I am ready to take on new challenges and contribute to innovative projects in my field.
